NOAH-NY has been travelling to Haiti every year since the devastating earthquake which hit the island in 2010. In their initial visit, there was a combined group of doctors, nurses, medical students, and volunteers which made the trip under treacherous conditions. Since that time, the island's conditions have slowly begun to recover, and the program, through various fundraising and volunteer support has grown significantly. In 2015, NOAH-NY was able to acquire a new facility which will be utilized during their annual missions in June as well as remain a functioning clinic throughout the remainder of the year.

In addition to the space acquired, additional space must be constructed in order to house many of the different specialties required to give the people of Haiti proper healthcare and services. A schematic plan was proposed and then developed into a schematic model.
