Located in Brooklyn, New York - this 4-story brick townhome was originally built in 1899. The building over the years was converted into a Two-Family, and the interior conditions were deteriorated. The overall project called for a full restoration and renovation of the interior, as well as the rear garden, 2nd floor roof terrace, and full window replacement to the exterior.
Design Concept – To restore as much of the existing character of the townhome, at the same time inserting modern influence both inside and outside the home. This juxtaposition between the historical qualities of the home, and the modern inserts provides a rich spatial experience both inside the home and out.
